Boningale Homes Albrighton South announcement came as part of a series of 4
proposals in Feb / March 2024; also in Brewood, Codsall and Bishopswood in South
Staffordshire.
They also have announced a 5th set of proposals at the start of April 2024 in Tilstock near Whitchurch, Shropshire.
This aggressive ‘clusterbomb’ tactic was characterised by their flyers not reaching many residents affected by their proposals, and last minute messages appearing on social media. This complaint was heard in all four communities and has continued with their subsequent meetings.
Boningale Homes ‘workshops’ were led by their Development Director Dean Trowbridge, town planning consultant DLP and masterplan architect CASS. In each community, Boningale Homes told residents that their proposals were 80-100% certain of being approved by the Local Authority; presenting them as a ‘fait accompli’ (this is not true).
Boningale Homes are clearly only interested in commercial profit at the expense of local communities. This has left residents upset, angry and mobilised to oppose Boningale Homes proposals for their community.
